Do I need to be certified to dive with MBI?
Not at all. We welcome complete beginners with Discover Scuba experiences, and certified divers of every level.
When is the best time to see thresher sharks?
Threshers are seen year-round at dawn. We head out before sunrise to the cleaning stations at Kimud & Monad Shoals.
How likely are shark sightings?
Sharks are wild animals so nothing is guaranteed — but Malapascua offers some of the most reliable thresher encounters on Earth.
What is included in a fun dive?
Tanks, weights, an experienced local guide, boat transfers to the site, and a full pre-dive briefing.
Can I do a course if I have never dived before?
Yes — our PADI Open Water course takes you from zero to certified at your own pace in warm, clear water.
