Overview

Chocolate Island is a shallow, gently sloping site, roughly 8 to 16 m, about 20 minutes from Malapascua by boat. It is one of the easiest dives in the area and a good second dive for newer divers.

Hard and soft corals cover the slope, and the macro life is the draw: nudibranchs, flatworms, pipefish, shrimp and the occasional reef octopus or cuttlefish. Take it slowly and look closely at small things.
